Ria is assistant headteacher at Alma. She is an energetic, innovative and enthusiastic teacher and mum to three primary aged boys. She completed her PGCE in 2004 and continued with her Masters in Education and Leadership whilst teaching. She became part of a successful inner city leadership team in 2014. Ria has taught across all key stages in Haringey, Barnet, Brent, Camden and Enfield. During her time as a senior leader she completed the school Quality Assurance Reviewer training. Ria is also an CEOP ambassador. Over the years, she has mentored both Early Career teachers and student teachers from Teach First, Middlesex and London Metropolitan University. In her spare time, Ria enjoys keeping fit. She has completed the London Marathon and half Marathon on behalf of various children's charities.
